MATER CHRISTI INSTITUTE OF CATECHESIS AND PSYCO-SPIRITUAL FORMATION (ICAPOF) The institute of Catechesis and Psycho-spiritual formation (ICAPOF) founded in 2018 was initially designed only for training the Catechists who engage in pastoral and catechetical formation of the faithful. To the glory of God, this year 2023, the vision has elaborated to integrate the Psycho-Spiritual formation with the Institute of Catechesis such that it will now be called Institute of Catechesis and Psycho-Spiritual Formation (ICAPOF). Thus, the curriculum is planned to cover the catechetical, theological, Psychological and Spiritual preparations of Catechists, Spiritual Directors, Vocation Directors, and leaders at different capacities. The institute accomplishes this through a two years certificate programme. The programme is designed to run on weekend basis with nine contacts per annum. The vision of the institute is to Theological, Psychological and Spiritual Formation to all. The programme is most beneficial also to all who work with human persons especially those entrusted with the work of directing souls in all stages of formation in the society.
